Guest speaker Brent Bowman, Executive Director of Future Neenah, shared details about the upcoming Very Merry Neenah Christmas Market, set for December 5–7 in downtown Neenah. The new event will complement Very Neenah Christmas Live Mannequin Night and feature an outdoor holiday market with vendor huts, seasonal treats, and community cheer. Neenah Rotary is partnering with Future Neenah in planning and organizing the event. More information can be found in the separate article below.

Honorary Member Jerry Rickman provided an update on the Club’s water project at the Twin Oaks Community Garden, now in its 17th year. The garden features 96 plots maintained by local residents and plays a vital role in combating food insecurity by helping diverse and economically challenged community members grow fresh, healthy food. Jerry was joined by Stacey Steiger, Chair of the Twin Oaks Garden Board, and Sheyrena Boswell, Board Member. We were honored with a surprise visit from Rotary International President Nominee Larry Lunsford. Joining Larry was Oshkosh Southwest Rotarian and PDG Craig Burnett. The monthly meeting of the board was held immediately following the meeting.
