What a wonderful season for us to Reach Out to Embrace Humanity. We are blessed that Neenah Rotary has touched many lives in our community and around the world.

Recently I had the honor to represent Neenah Rotary at Fox Valley Technology College and presented six scholarships to some very worthy students. Not only did the recipients express their gratitude that afternoon, but their thank you letters confirmed their appreciation.

An uplifting surprise came when I received a personal phone call from the father of one of the recipients sharing how much this scholarship meant to his son and their family. This student’s mother had passed away a few years ago and the father is working to carry out the mother’s wish for their son to receive an education. Our scholarship is making that wish come true.

Christmas miracle, yes, it is for this student and for all the students that Rotarians help to make their dreams come true. We give a life time gift. I ask that you look into your hearts this coming year and continue to give of your time, talents and financial gifts so others in our community will enjoy a blessed holiday.
