Members can serve on committees in four areas of service: Community, Vocational, International and Club. 

Club Service Commitees

  • Classfication
    • Determines and approves the classification for all prospective members.
    • Reviews all new member applications to make sure all the information is correctly submitted. 
    • Assigns the prospective member to open classifications available.
  • Communications
    • Supports the marketing commnunications and awarness efforts of the Neenah Rotary Club.
    • Maintains the website, neenahrotary.org
    • Mantains social media outlets for the club.
  • Membership
    • Develops recruiting plan to target business prospects and classifications.
    • Orients/welcomes new members.
    • Develops tools to promote the benefits of membership to prospects.
    • New commitee members are always welcomed.  Please contact the membership chair.

Community / Vocational Service Committees 

  • Community Outreach
    • Proposes, reviews and oversees hands-on activities and large grant requests for the Club.  The group:reens and recommends major projects to the Board.
    • Evaluates and coordinates large grant requests or those that require a commitment of time and talent as well as dollars.
    • Recruits and organizes volunteers for "hands-on" projects.
    • Seeks out projects that benefit the youth and senior citizens of our community.
  • Grants
    • Represents the members of the Neenah Rotary Club in their support of community needs.

  • Math & Science
    • Supports math and science educational initiatives in the community.
  • STRIVE I
    • Provides a group of high school students the benefit of interaction with Rotary members on a monthly basis.
  • Strive II 
    • Connects with junior high school counselors and students to make them aware of Rotary and encourage the students to become leaders.

International/World Community Service Committees

  • International
    • Overall Mission: Propose, review and oversee Club international hands-on activities, grant requests and Rotary International (RI) initiatives.
    • Seeks international projects through RI and/or District
    • Organizes club involvement in Group Study Exchange (GSE) opportunities
    • Coordinate fundraising for Rotary International Foundation projects such as Every Rotarian, Every Year and Polio Plus.

Rotary Youth Exchange

  • Rotary Youth Exchange is one of the most valuble experiences of a young person's life. With the support of a local Rotary club, youth are given the opportunity to spend a year studying abroad.  Youth gain valuable exposure to another culture and it's people.
